October is going to kick off a new class series at Wine Whisperer that is all about dirt! Well, not dirt exactly, but about the various soil types found around the world. Before we ‘dig deep’ into the subject, we’re going to talk Terroir… that elusive French word that can encompass everything from the type of soil found in the vineyard to the specific micro-climate around a winery. We’ll be offering our “What is Terroir?” class twice: first on Tuesday, October 1 at 7 pm with Jenna; second on Saturday, October 5 at 3 pm with Amber.
